Everyone's scared of something. To celebrate Hallowe'en here's a few confessions from the Wall about what scares people most. And a couple more to make you shudder...

"I am terrified of the movie E.T and I'm 14 years old. I've been scared of it all my life."
(female, 14, Student in Portland, Oregon, USA)

"i'm afraid that i don't actually have a soul."
(anonymous)

"I eat the nastiest things from my body. Popped pimples, boogers, nail clipings, hair, bits of skin from my fingers"

"I love Kittens but i could never finish a whole one"

Mail goggles required!

Google's news this week that it had developed Mail Goggles to stop drunken emails came too late to help one contributor to Wall of Secrets:

"I've just messaged my ex's new girlfriend on facebook, telling her what a wanker he is!! but feel sick now ive sorbered up :/ wonder if i'll get reply................lol"
[female, 30, must stop drunken emaillin!]

At least she's still laughing. however, this woman really has to take her beer goggles off:

"I imagine I'm stranded on a deserted island with Barry Manilow. Just him and I, and we get intimate!" - [Female, 42]

If you've got a drunken email or text to confess, post it on the Wall of Secrets and you'll soon feel a whole lot better...

Twisted Valentines

These latest secrets prove that romance isn't dead, just a little bit twisted. It's not that they don't love someone, it's more that they don't love the one they're with!

Tuesday 12 February at 06:20
I've been married to my husband for two years, he's been in the navy for three, and we've been together four. He's on his second deployment. I want to be with an old flame from high school while he's gone. We're growing apart. Instead of fixing it.. I want the other guy instead. I've fought it off for a while now, but I know that eventually I'm going to stop saying no. I want to say "YES!"
[female, 22]

Tuesday 12 February at 04:40
I just dumped a fat chick I used to make an ex-girlfriend of mine jealous, but now I'm in love with her.
[15, completely misunderstood]

Thursday 24 January at 05:37
I desperately want my girlfriend to break up with my so I can sleep with a coworker.
[male, 22, desperate and taken]

Thursday 27 December at 23:26
My ex-husband died recently- he was an addict and I loved him so much but I could not get him off the drugs - I can't even grieve because my current husband doesn't know I ws ever married to 'that junkie they found dead the other day'. I love you, MB. I hope you're in a better place.
[female, That junkie's ex-wife]

Friday 02 November at 00:02
even though she hurt me many times, i think i still am in love with her. i thought i was over her, i guess not. there are days when i wish she wasn't straight
[female, 18, nebraska angel]

And finally a secret proposal (of sorts):

Tuesday 16 October at 02:43
I swear I'm fine when he says we won't marry til we're 30. I'm lying. I want a ring now.

Happy (belated) Valentine's Day everyone :-)

I'm currently trying to cheat at online scrabble
[anonymous]

If i dont have a clean towel i will use my dirty underwear to dry off
[Male, 26, single]

While browsing CDs, I once sneezed out a piece of chewing gum into a stranger's shopping bag.
[Female, 34]

I peed off the Effiel Tower in Paris when I was 16!!
[Male, 19]

I think I'm smarter then everyone but my boss and Stephen Fry.

Good News for Flies on the Wall

hi Wall fans! (or should that be Flies on the Wall?)

Just to let you know there's some exciting developments planned for Wall of Secrets, which should make finding secrets even easier. We might even move the Wall to a site near you...but more on that later.

In the meantime, here's a few of our recent favourites:

Guard your passwords!

"i got the password to his msn... and deleted her off it. i got away with it for months! i pretend to feel bad but actually, i'm thrilled"

Back to school

"While in my senior year of highschool I put a dead cat in a plastic bag in a students backpack during lunch."

Charity case

"I was given money to walk in a breast cancer walk and I spent it on beer."

And finally, a story of true love...

"I gave up a relationship with a great guy because I'm still in love with a fat, lazy, alcoholic jerk who I speak to only occasionally via e-mail and lives 3,000 miles away."

Harry Potter and the Wall of Secrets

Someone has sent in the ending to the latest Harry Potter novel as a 'secret'. I have no idea whether it's true or not as I didn't get past book 1, but I won't give it away just in case. And
also, it's disqualified on a technicality because this secret didn't belong to the person who submitted it! (although I may be wrong - just who does own a secret from a book?!).
There have been hundreds of secrets to the Wall recently. Not sure what sparked this latest outbreak of confessions but keep 'em coming.
The most recent secrets cover the full range, from the man who admits to eating his own pimples to someone who feels they've broken the promises they made to their dying mother.
There's also a lot of long distance love going on...and some sheepish spying of partners on facebook and MSN.
Far too much to talk about in one post, so we'll highlight a few at a time over the next few weeks.

Hide and seek for adults

One of the most popular themes of all the secrets on this site is 'hidden feelings'. Strange how many people hide what they really feel, even if it's something good. It made me think about playing hide and seek as a kid: the hiding bit wasn't that exciting especially if it went on too long - it was the getting found out that was the fun part.

Thursday 09 November at 17:47
I have been in love with this guy for ever and I have just found out that he feels the same way

Thursday 09 November at 12:15
I left my husband this year and wish i hadn't. I wish we could work things out and give it another try!
[female]
